RT9514 是适合便携式产品使用的集成化、低成本单节锂离子电池充电 IC,最适合采用交流适配器为之供电。当交流适配器被移除时,RT9514 进入睡眠模式。RT9514 采用优化的控制算法完成充电过程,可自动选择预充模式、快充模式和恒压模式进行充电,当充电电流下降到预设的阈值时,充电过程即自动终止。它的充电电流可用外部电阻进行设定,最大值可达 1A 。内部集成的热回馈电路对内核温度进行调节以确保在任何可用环境温度范围内以最佳速率进行充电。RT9505 可以承受最高达 18V 的输入电压,其它特性包括欠压保护和输入过压保护。
